Last time I visited Japan, I was DESPERATE to go to the Kirby Café in Tokyo. Booking a reservation can be a bit tricky (see below), but I was determined to taste Kirby’s fine cuisine.
The Reservation Process
This was one of the most stressful booking processes I have ever been through. The café only accepts reservations for 1 month in advance, opening on the 10th day of the previous month . (Ex: Reservations for the entire month of May are made available on April 10th). They open at 6pm JST and get filled within MINUTES. Depending on your time zone you may have to set an alarm for 3am to snag a time, like I had to. Luckily Kirby himself decided to bless me, and I managed to reserve for a time that I would still be in Tokyo.
The Atmosphere
The vibes of the café were incredible. Everything was, of course, Kirby themed! We were seated where I had hoped to be, right under Whispy Woods!

Even down to the silverware, Kirby was everywhere! After being seated we had 85 minutes to dine. So it was time to whip open the menu and start ordering.

The Food
The food was ADORABLE. Almost too cute to eat. (Almost). It wasn’t Michelin star restaurant quality by any means, but it was tasty.

The Merch
There was tons of exclusive merch at the Kirby Café Store across the hall! I ended up with a canvas tote bag, a plush Chef Kirby and a blind box keychain. You also get a mug and bento to take home with the purchase of a coffee and the loco moco bowl!
Final Thoughts
Kirby Café is a super fun place to go for Kirby fans. As strange as it sounds, I cherish the memory of my 1st visit here. It is 100% worth a stop if you find yourself in Tokyo.
